Ranveer Singh, born on July 6, 1985, in Mumbai, India, is a dynamic force in the Indian film industry known for his versatile acting, infectious energy, and flamboyant personality. 

Born into a Sindhi family, Ranveer grew up in Mumbai, where he attended the H.R. College of Commerce and Economics. Despite hailing from a non-filmy background, Ranveer harbored a deep passion for acting from a young age. He honed his skills by participating in school plays and later pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree from Indiana University, Bloomington, where he continued to explore his love for acting through theatre.

Upon returning to India, Ranveer enrolled in the renowned acting school, the Actor Prepares Institute, where he received formal training in acting. His dedication and talent caught the eye of casting directors, leading to his breakthrough in Bollywood.

Ranveer made his acting debut in 2010 with the film "Band Baaja Baaraat," directed by Maneesh Sharma. His portrayal of the charming and ambitious Bittoo Sharma earned him widespread acclaim and a Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. He quickly became known for his uninhibited performances, magnetic screen presence, and ability to effortlessly slip into diverse roles.
